Favorite professional books of my career

I think of myself as a scholarly Social Worker. I am inspired, informed, and empowered by many of the books, films, and articles I have read over the years. There is a lot of dross and schlock in the social sciences, human services, and self help literature so finding clear, meaningful, informative texts is always a blessing. The books and articles listed below are works that have empowered me significantly in my work and because of their benefit to me, I highly recommend them to you. The list is continually being added to so check back periodically.
